The following month, the couple spent time with Hubbard's family in Florida for Easter. Hubbard posted a series of pictures and videos of her and Radke enjoying some quality time with her loved ones. After being friends and costars for years, Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard confirmed they were officially a couple at the start of 2022. Ultimately, Carl was the one who called off their wedding in August less than three months before they were set to tie the knot. And despite being the one to initiate the breakup, Kyle insists that Carl is equally devastated the relationship didn't work out. "It's no secret that they've been in constant couple's therapy ever since they basically started dating," the Winter House star exclusively told E! "From my from my perspective, there were times where I was like, 'Man, it's almost like the only time they could communicate on any given week was in therapy."

"You can only imagine how hard it was for them to be honest in that moment because it was probably the most brutal feedback that they've ever had to give you," Kyle reflected. Throughout the season, Lindsay expressed her concerns that Carl wasn’t making enough money after he left his job at Loverboy. While Carl said he wanted to open a sober sports bar, Lindsay shut down the idea because she didn’t want to work in hospitality. Bravo fans are getting new insight into what led to Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's shocking breakup.
But it seems Lou doesn't mind that this emotional, personal conversation was shared with the world. In Season 8, Episode 11 of Summer House, Carl headed to the Jersey Shore to visit with his mom, Sharon, and stepfather Lou. While the convo started out as a mere catch-up, Lou turned serious, questioning if Carl's relationship with Lindsay Hubbard is strong enough to withstand the test of time. Exactly two weeks after the split news came to light, Lindsay broke her silence and revealed she's "heartbroken" and humiliated" with how Carl ended things.
