The 18-plus space offers drinks, your own pool and plenty of loungers to soak up the sun, sans screaming children and splashing. These are all pretty self-explanatory, but as you’re browsing your options, pay attention to the imagery and floor plans offered for each space. There are slight differences, such as how much room you get on your balcony, the size of the interior sitting areas, etc. Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.

Don’t get us wrong — a Carnival Pride Vista Suite stateroom is a lovely room with all the suite fixings. But the thing to see here is truly the view that your balcony affords you. A Vista Suite features a wraparound balcony that provides wide, stunning views when you’re outside, and a uniquely panoramic inside view thanks to a wall of windows that brings more of that outside inside.
